Dr. Susan Walker, ND

A graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Susan is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor holding an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario. Also involved in the fitness industry for the past 6 years, Susan is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, a Canadian Association of Fitness Professionals (Can-Fit-Pro) certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, Mind Body Fitness Specialist with the Canadian Association of Fitness Professionals, Gravity Group® and Gravity Personal Training® Instructor, Cycle Reebok Instructor and certified Spinning® Instructor. She has trained clients and taught at several fitness facilities and corporate locations across the Greater Toronto Area and has given numerous health and fitness presentations and workshops. She has a passion for nutrition and has furthered her studies in this area at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto. Susan believes that a proper, balanced diet forms the foundation of health and uses nutritional counselling together with nutritional supplementation as the basis of her clients' programs.

Susan is certified in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University, has received advanced training in Functional Medicine, Homotoxicology, Biotherapeutic Drainage and Intravenous/Parenteral Therapy. She is also certified in FirstLine Therapy®, a program that helps individuals improve their health, achieve their health goals and reduce their risk of chronic disease through Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes.

Susan holds professional memberships with the Canadian Association of Fitness Professionals (Can-Fit-Pro), the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Medicine (OAND), the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and is licensed through the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy (BDDT-N).
